are both your eyes half closed? or do you have one eye fully closed and one eye fully open?

if so, then which eye are you opening?

and is the world itself is flat, or is it, in fact, your world that is flat and you are having a crisis trying to cope with it?

or is it that you are a cyclops with no depth perception??

the cyclops gave away an eye to see into the future...but, what they sacrificed for divination was depth perception. Its having tow eyes that gives us the ability to see in depth.

so you must be cyclops then. or at least relative to one...Leena, maybe?

If you're referring The World Is Flat by Tom Friedman, then I can tell you I thoroughly enjoyed it! Friedman always has his finger on the pulse, and has a knack for rendering very complex geopolitical and technological systems into metaphors that common folks like me can understand.

I would also strongly recommend "From Beirut to Jerusalem", as well as "Attitudes & Longitudes" by Friedman. These are highly recommended for anyone who wants to better understand cultural motivations in the Middle East...

i saw that dude on some talk shows and all his "world is flat" schitck seemed kinda obvious. anyone care to share any astounding insights made in the book?

i read somewhere that greek cyclops mythology may have originated from elephant skulls; I guess elephants are great swimmers and used to frequent the greek isles back in teh day; their skulls are giant and have one big hole in teh center.
