I am halfway through Merle's Door. One of the best dog/adventure books I have read. He is also so informative about the history of mankind's relationship with the domestic dog. If you are a dog lover, this is a must read.

    Wow! I just returned from a family vacation. I had a two-hour layover in the Salt Lake City airport so I went to the airport bookstore to see what was on the shelves and kill some time. I'd already received 4 books to read that week from family members. But I saw Merle's Door and couldn't help but buy it! Now I see you have recommended it. The coincidence must mean I'm meant to read it soon! LOL!
